It doesn't have the solutions for all the exercises, maybe 50% of the exercises only. Even for some exercises the solution is not complete.

It's been useful in helping me working out the problems. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it had included solutions to more of the problems. For the most part, it gives clear steps to solving the problems. I've found one mistake so far. It's not perfect but having it does help with working out the problems, which are very much like real world electrochemical problems - according to our TA, and are the only way to learn the stuff - my personal experience in this class so far. I'd say get it and use it if you've got the 39 busks for a new one (or get a used one).

Decent technical manual but a bit heavy on the math. Have been using it for a grad level chemistry course and it has come in handy. Glad I bought it but like all text books can be hard to slog through sometimes.

It has the solutions to the even problems of each chapter from Electrochemical methods, Bard and Faulkner. The answers are well explained and it is very useful. No disappointment for the content. Shipping was fast. It is a good compliment for the textbook.

This "solutions manual" doesn't actually bother to help you solve anything, it only confirms if you done something correctly. It only provides the answers to approximately 25% of the problems at the end of the chapter.The biggest problem is that it doesn't show you how to solve these questions, only provides you with an answer. I'd prefer it not give me the answers, but lead me through the theory to solve the problems.I felt misslead by this book being called a solutions manual, and feel that the price tag is ridiculous for something that is essentially a list of numbers and graphs that should be included in the allready expensive book.I definately would not recommend this to anyone.

This book is essential item for students who study electrochemistry.It is very hard to study 'Electrochemical Methods'. But with this student solutions manual, it could become easier.But, it would be better if all problems were solved.

There are accordion-style books that unfold from a nutshell, books in a locket, stacking doll-style books, and hundreds of tiny works that were sold as novelties or commemorative pieces. The books are a mix of religious and naughty, silly and serious, political and irreverent, educational and playful. Dictionaries, flipbooks, Bibles, maps, music - the selection is as varied as the regular-sized world of books.The page layout and richness of the material shows the attention to detail and love that these authors have for this unique art form. The authors also do a good job of blowing up the smallest images to bring out tiny detail while also showing real-sized pictures so that the miniature size can be appreciated as much as possible.Publisher Abrams honors their effort with an exquisite and expensive printing presentation. The inside endpapers are printed, all the paper is heavy coated stock with metallic edges, full-page bleeds fill many of the pages with rich color. I even appreciated the cloth ribbon with which to mark your page. It's a beautiful and dramatic work. The book itself is a piece of art.

When older people are nearing the latter years of their life, it is important for us to listen to their years of wisdom being shared as they leave their legacy for us to learn from and build upon. This is the case for John Perkins, an elder statesman of the Christian faith and of civil rights (among other things) who has written another masterpiece that is full of needed insight and prophetic words for our time – One Blood: Parting Words to the Church on Race (Moody Publishers, 2018). For Perkins, this is his bottom line urgent message that he wishes to directly inject into our way of thinking and our way of living in these days of confusion, hatred, and violent behavior. It is a message of recognizing that we who are humans are one race who together must set aside our differences and move toward biblical reconciliation that Perkins would say removes our tensions while restoring our relationships as we love one another in practical ways.The book itself is a life-time of lessons shared as a blueprint for needed change. The key to this change, which is consistently reinforced throughout the book, is found in the Church. As noted in the introduction, “[C]ommunity development can only take us so far – because this is a gospel issue. The problem of reconciliation in our country and in our churches is much too big to be wrestled to the ground by plans that begin in the minds of men. This is a God-sized problem. It is one that only the Church, through the power of the Holy Spirit, can heal. It requires the quality of love that only our Savior can provide. And it requires that we make some uncomfortable confessions.” The recipe for this pursuit of justice is what Perkins lays out simply, boldly, and clearly: know who we are as human beings and as the Church of Jesus Christ, practice lament, confession, forgiveness, and repentance, persevere, pray, and pursue love. To help show us that these things are realistic and possible, there are even four stories of local churches who are putting these things into practice highlighted for us to glean from.As a Christ-follower, I have always committed to trying to live in the way that Perkins describes here (and in his other writings) – so I find this as another fresh reminder of things that I need to be doing myself, even as I find myself gaining some new insights along the way. As a pastor, I have consistently tried to model this and teach the same ideas to the people in my spiritual care (as a college professor, the same is true in the classroom and with my students) – so I find myself vigorously nodding in agreement when, in chapter one, he writes that “the black church can’t fix this. And the white church can’t fix this. It must be the reconciled Church, black and white Christians together imaging Christ to the world.” He adds later, at the chapter’s end, that it’s “going to take intentionally multiethnic and multicultural churches to bust through the chaos and confusion of the present moment and redirect our gaze to the revolutionary gospel of reconciliation.”Most of the time, I find at least some degree of disagreement with an author or a book. But honestly, in this case, I am finding it difficult to find anything significant – or anything at all – with which to disagree. I’m not saying that this is the perfect book or that John Perkins is a perfect man who never has anything wrong to say. I’m just saying that this book, One Blood, is one of the most important books to read at this time in our nation’s history. It is a gold mine of wise instruction that will serve well as a very practical tool for use in ministry, teaching, and discussions with various people. I believe this book to be an invaluable resource for the Church, with implications reaching far beyond the black-white struggle that is most prominent in our culture and throughout our communities. I highly recommend this book to all who follow Jesus, and even to those who don’t. I especially commend it to pastors, church leaders, denominational executives, college and seminary professors, and anyone interested in pursuing true reconciliation within a context of broken relationships, especially those broken along ethnic lines.Well done, Dr. Perkins, well done. Thank you for your faithfulness to Christ and to the cause, and for the influence you continue to have in our lives!

I bought this because I am a white male conservative christian living in Oakland CA. I found the "One Blood" concepts in the book to be good. I found the Statist, left leaning concepts in the book to be off the mark and ultimately a cause of deep concern. Can we achieve ecclesiastical integration within the framework of traditional western liberalism without destroying the foundations of our civil liberties?

The task and ministry of all Christ followers is reconciliation. This is of course the ministry of the gospel- being reconciled to God in Christ. Dr. Perkins reminds us that it is also reconciliation between people as well.I heartily recommend this book. I believe it has a great deal of hope to share.

I really like this book. I just got it today and I plan to begin some of the pages tonight. The animals are cleanly drawn, and I have looked every where for a camel.... this one is awesome!

There are 25 various animal designs in this great coloring book. They are of the outline of an animal with “doodles” added to making coloring them a fun experiment in colors. The designs include at least one: wolf, dog, cat, tiger, lion, bear, owl, elephant and more. Some of the designs are head shots while others are full body images. I like that there is a variety in poses as well as animals as it gives me more to choose from when I pick up the book to color. Doodle animals are a favorite of mine because I get to imagine animals in wild and fun colors.The designs are printed on thin white non-perforated paper which is typical of CreateSpace publications. The paper is medium weight and the binding of this book is glued rather than sewn or stapled. There is plenty of room to cut the page out if you wish. All designs stop well before the margin.Coloring pencils work well on this paper but all markers and gel pens bleed through. Not a problem – I am now using a piece of chipboard under my work to keep ink from leaking through to ruin the design below. You can use heavyweight paper or card stock but be sure to check to see how many layers you need to keep it from leaking through. The reason I like chipboard is it can be reused over and over again and is available at office supply stores or on-line.These are the coloring medium that I use for testing. If there is something else you feel I should be testing, please let me know and I will see if I can add it to my growing pile:Markers: 1) alcohol-based – Copic Sketch, Prismacolor double ended markers (brush and fine point), Sharpies (fine and ultra-fine) and 2) water-based – Tombows dual end markers (brush and fine point), Stabilo 88, Staedler triplus fineliners, and Pentel markersGel Pens: Sakura, Fiskars, Uni-ball Signo 0.38/0.28 and TekwriterColoring Pencils: Prismacolor Premier Soft Core, Derwent Colorsoft, Prismacolor Verithins, and Faber-Castel PolychromosI received a free sample of this coloring book for test and review purposes.

This is a nice coloring book. I like these type that have the outlines of the animals but with intricate designs within that outline to Color. Right now this is my favorite coloring book I own.I have two complaints which takes it from a five star to 4 star rating in my opinion.The First is I wish it had perforated pages. My daughter likes to hang the colored pictures on her wall and it's hard to rip the page out without tearing the paper you are trying to preserve.The second problem I have is the pages could be heavier. My markers bleed thru badly, so I have to slip a piece of cardboard in the book so not to damage other pages.In conclusion, I really like this coloring book, but it just not quite perfect. :)This product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail price. I am reviewing it because I want to share my experience with other potential customers.

This is an okay book for those not really seeking a challenge and/or wanting to focus on their coloring. I really love doing mosaic type books and thought this would be fun but it looks like someone printed out a design from an old laser jet printer, the lines aren't clear (looks a little pixelated) and the paper is computer paper. I gave this to my niece to practice coloring inside the lines. She loved it, I did not. So all in all, this is great for 6 year old kids - but I would recommend to just google animal mosaic coloring images, save the images you like and print it that way, it'll save you the money.

I was looking for an animal themed coloring book as a gift for a friend and came across this one. I liked it so much that I purchased one for her and one for our house. I am very pleased with the book and designs.The designs are unique. You can choose a design to complete in an evening or you can work on a design a little at a time over the course of several evenings. ( sometimes I can't stop working on a picture, when I look at the clock it is 2 or 3 in the morning) They really are appropriate for any skill level or creative style.Like others have noted, the paper does allow some markers/inks to bleed through. Which means it can transfer to the design or the table/counter top below.I prefer to remove the image I want to work on. For me, it is less cumbersome than trying to color with it still in the book. I saved the vinyl cover and cardboard back from a used spiral notebook, measured a line to cut off the holes along the edges. Both work well to protect the surface underneath. The vinyl cover is thin and slips between the pages better than the thicker cardboard, if you color with the design still in the bookI don't mind the thinner paper, as it likely helps keep the price down. The paper is not at all the paper of the coloring books from our youth.This paper is heavier weight, bright white paper with crisp, clean black printed designs.The paper works well enough to use markers, colored pencils, crayons and any combination of them. While I don't think they were necessarily designed to be "permanent" pieces, they are suitable for framing. A friend completed a design with colors to match our house and put it in a wood frame. It looks great. Otherwise, we display our "creations" on the fridge for a while, but remove them to make room for new ones.These animal designs allow you to be as creative as you choose. Make it cute, crazy or artsy, it's up to you and your imagination.

The quality of the prints is really bad, it looks like I someone just printed them off the internet. There are variations in the darkness of the ink, and the lines themselves are somewhat pixelated (a good word might be fuzzy). Some pictures are also more gray than others, like the picture file got distorted before printing. The pictures themselves would have been so nice, but the quality makes me question whether I can actually give this as gift now.

Totally unreadable ! Its a total waste of money. I read "Chemical Dependency" for 30 CEU from Homestead School Inc., and that's much easier to read and understand. I also read Addiction for Nurses by Hussein Rassool.

Poorly written, far too broad on information not seen in ANY of the exams. Some content matches the exam, but this wanders far off base for certification content requirements and content. This is a monopoly sale, meaning this IS THE MAIN BOOK required for the exam! Not succinct enough compared to nearly any other specialty exam, or matching books. This specialty is in DESPERATE NEED OF COMPETITION! Please, someone else get certified THEN publish a book with focused content! Yes, I'm certified.

The content of the core curriculum book is very dated and has a plethora of statistical numbers strewn through it but very little up-to-date information about direct care of patients suffering from an addiction. Although the outline served as a good guide I only give it to stars because The content was really lacking

I agree that it's poorly written. There are lots of grammatical errors. The format is ok for an overview,but I was expecting much more detailed information. I am disappointed.

The whole book is basically in an outline format, not a readable narrative form. I have never seen a book written this way. It is so hard to understand because only key words and phrases are written down. I would not recommend this book.

This book contains inaccuracies. Much of the material is outdated. It is written in an outline format, which makes it choppy and sloppy. There apparently was no editing for grammar or punctuation.I have paid to join the organization. I have paid to take the test. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, I am embarrassed for this nursing organization.I will offer to edit your next edition for free. I was an English minor in college. I'd like to see my nursing organization put a better foot forward. Addiction is killing people. We can't be left learning from a book where most of the citations are from the 1980-90s.

No questions and answers. Dry, dry, dry. Not worth the money.
