Adaption to the virtue talks he gave to the Sisters that are nice for bedside reading. Nice 'prayer book' size (easy to hold, light weight, easy to pack with you). Enough header, footers, margins and blank back pages at chapter headings for notes if one is inclines. Even though this is a paper back, it wears well (stands up well to travel).
A beautiful book with wonderful essays to think about and discuss. A great Confirmation gift if your child picks Francis De Sales as their saint. And a great gift for a sponsor, too.
The words of St. Francis de Sales speak God's truth to my heart in a gentle way. This is one of my favorite books. I have also gifted it twice so far.
