This book helped me out with my class a lot. I learned a ton about laws, but for faster reviews or more information on contracts or legalities I would check out Henry Cheeseman Business Law and Contracts by Attorney Richard Stim. Combined those books helped me build the reference needed to complete my class successfully. This book alone has all the information needed, but having other books provides different information in understanding law.
I should have listened to the review that mentioned spelling mistakes. There were also several incorrect case citation numbers, so that when I had to look up the case for class in Lexis Nexis, it would bring up a completely different case, or not find the case at all.
Good layout and organization. Useful appendices and index. Rental book listed in Used Acceptable condition. Has defective binding. Partial separation of front end sheets from binding. Required book for my college class. A good primer on the topic.

Good book on law background for your business law class, but obviously as with every textbook, OVERPRICED.
The content was excellent and extensive. This textbook covers everything and anything about the business law from the perspective of a Human Resources professional.
Well written. Made the class enjoyable. There were quite a number of typos in a couple of the later chapters.
Don't bother buying the 2016 $270 8th Edition, this 2015 $8 copy of the 7th Edition is the exact same book. Money well saved!
