I was taken in by the positive reviews and bought the book. What a mistake. Seriously this isn’t worth 99c. I read the top reviews again and noticed a pattern ! They are clustered and not written like normal reviews , they are canned. Anyway , that wouldn’t have mattered if the book had some substance. It’s way out of date and is nothing more than a ( bad) compilation of information freely and readily available on the internet. The structure of the book is erratic and reads like it’s been written by several people or more likely grabbed from several different free sources.
I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone except children, or people who want to say they learned Python but really can't do anything with it. Some examples are not clearly explained, which is frustrating for readers who really want to understand Python.If you want to copy and paste commands from this book and say you've learned Python, then this book is fine. If you want to learn what each command given in the examples mean, then this book doesn't do a good job explaining it. Even as a free book, I don't think I can recommend this to anyone who wants to learn Python.
I'm starting a new job soon and haven't done much Python coding in a few years so I just wanted a quick reference to skim through as a refresher. This book starts out at a VERY basic level of just installing Python then touches on a few concepts then it's over. Reads like it was written by someone whose first language isn't English which I'd be fine with if the content were better. I wasn't expecting much based on the price (free at the time), but even factoring that in this book isn't worth reading.Your time would be better spend on instructional youtube videos or edx free courses. Also I'm pretty sure the positive reviews for this book are fake, I wasn't going to bother writing this one since I was able to download the book for free, but people deserve to know that it's a waste of time.

I learned different ways to adapt my programming style to overcome some problems. I found this book very informative, useful and interesting. It is a really great resource for beginners like me. I got so much helpful information on all my questions about Phython programming. I liked this book and I am glad to add it to my library. I would recommend this guide for those who need such type of information. It is worth reading.

This book has lots of actionable information that will get you started on the journey to be coming a pro at Python programming. In this guide I found the information about what Python is, how to download and install Python, Python glossary, interacting with Python, variables, loops, Python dictionaries and much more useful and important information. I found this book very informative, practical and useful. It is described in the simple language and easy to understand. This guide actually tried to answer my questions and I would say that I am entertained with all answers it gave. I liked this book and I'm glad to have it on my Kindle. I recommend this book to anyone who needs such type of information.
I had to return this book. There is no clear path to how one would do this in a week. I also found the layout to be all over the place. Planning to learn Python effectively and quickly is an art that's taken me through quite a few rabbit holes and this one was one of them. If you want to learn Python well enough to be productive in a reasonable amount of time -- let's say 2 to 4 weeks -- I'd suggest going through Python for Everybody by Charles Severance.
This book, I wouldn't pay a dime for itIt is free for the kindle edition. Has quite some typos, and explanation is poor.This is definitely not for beginners. You ought to have some coding background first to understand some parts of the book because it moves so fast that it just jumps to some terms without explaining that might be a hassle for new coders that don't have any coding experience what so ever. Would not recommend this book and is definitely not worth its price as paperback
